Cosplay Interviews / Cheerful Ghost Cosplay

I’ve been posting a lot of cosplay breakdowns and cosplay tutorials of my own on this blog so I’ve decided it would be a good time to introduce a new section to the CosplaySass blog: Feature Fridays!

I want to bring to you all some of the coolest, most complex and simply beautiful costumes I’ve seen! By interviewing cosplayers we can get an inside look of their process and see the person behind the art. Follow CosplaySass to stay updated on some of the greatest cosplayers to know about!

I’m super excited to introduce to you the talented Cheerful Ghost Cosplay!

Jam is an amazing cosplayer and they put so much life into every cosplay they do! They truly become the character and couldn’t wait to feature this amazing cosplayer!

What is your name / cosplay name?

My name is Jamie or Jam, my cosplay name is Ghost!

What first got you into cosplay?

My friend actually introduced me to it! We were both really into homestuck at the time and we saw others dressed as the characters so we decided to give it a try!

What is the hardest part of cosplaying for you?

For me it’s trying to figure out how exactly to make the props/outfits. And also styling the wigs, I wanna eventually get better at all of those things.

What’s your favorite character you’ve cosplayed?

My most favourite cosplay is Bonnie from FNAF! It’s very comfy and lots of people recognise who I am! I mostly love it though because kids get very excited when they see me in that costume!

What cosplay took you the longest to complete?

The longest for me was probably my young psycho mantis cosplay. I had to figure out how to make an entire straight jacket. I also had to hand sew a lot of little details on it but it’s a fun cosplay!

What have you learned sense you started cosplaying?

I learned that you don’t have to make everything literally by hand. I’ll be honest I buy a lot of stuff off amazon then edit it if need be! I also learned that you shouldn’t care about what people say about your cosplays as long as you’re having fun that’s what matters!
