For this hammer I followed this YouTube video. For the handle I used this broom handle from Amazon and I used foam from kids play mats and hot glue with lots of duct tape for the “hammer” part of the hammer. I spray painted craft foam for the gold circle on top of the hammer.
Materials:
- Foam (I used foam from kids play mats – if you have it EVA foam may work better)
- Duct Tape
- Hot Glue Gun
- Broom Stick
- Plastic Tin (we used a plastic lid from a food container to support the hammer)
- Plasti-Dip
- Silver Spray Paint
- Gold Spray Paint
- Acrylic paint (You can leave the stick gold, I added brown to it)
- and of course a bell

Cut out all the pieces (4 sides and small pieces for supports)

And Paint!
I ended up adding a spray paint cap for some extra support and painted the handle brown over the gold. This was the final result:
